Saturdays, Feb. 25-March 31—no double black stripe classes. They resume April 7.
Feb. 29—Belt testing, Woodruff Road, no regular classes (Greer location follows regular class schedule).
March 3—World Class Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts Festival, no regular classes
March 10—Demo Team and TWC tryouts, no regular classes
March 17—Georgia Martial Arts Festival
March 31—Bring-a-friend day, Greer school only

February Testing

Testing is a celebration of our student’s achievements. We invite guests to come and watch their hard work on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at the Woodruff Road school. Students will receive their new belts following testing.

Testing Times:

Adult 12n
White Belt – Green Belt 3:30p
Blue Stripe – Black Stripe 5:30p
Black Belts and Adults 7:30p

Please note that normal classes will not be held at the Woodruff Road School this day. Classes will run normally at the Greer School.

Team “T” Testing

Support the team at Black Belt Testing Feb. 18!

Master Jun Kyu Kim and the staff of Master Kim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do invite you to share in the excitement of black belt promotions and testing! Events take place Saturday, Feb. 18, at Sterling School.

At 10 a.m. we will celebrate with Team S as they proudly receive their black belts and Kukkiwon certificates from Korea. The members of Team S worked very hard to reach this goal, culminating with their black belt testing in August 2011. We are so proud of their accomplishments.

At 11:30 a.m., Team T will showcase their talents as they test for their black belts. Congratulations to the members of “Team Tiger!”

Holiday Camp

Join us as we celebrate the holidays and no school at Master Kim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do!

When: December 19-22 & December 28-30

What Time: 7:30am-6:00pm

Where: Master Kim’s – Woodruff Road location

Cost per day: After School Members: $20 a day. Non After School Members: $40 a day or $260 for 7 days

What to Bring: Please bring a bag lunch and snack. A handheld game is optional!

We will provide: Games, Arts and Crafts, Tae Kwon Do and FUN!

Holiday Special

Our Holiday Special includes a private and group lesson, in a comfortable and encouraging environment.

You will have a chance to observe classes, speak with the instructors, and learn about the benefits of Tae Kwon Do training. Space is limited!

2011 Holiday Events

This is going to be a very busy Holiday Season at Master Kim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do.

Parades

To begin the month of December we will kick off with the Greenville Parade on Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 6:00 pm. The very next day, Dec 4, we will have groups marching in both the Simpsonville and Greer Parades. Both of these parades will begin at 3:00 pm. Due to parade restrictions Master Kim will be selecting students to participate based on need. But even if you are not marching in the parade, please come and cheer on the other students and your favorite instructors!

Movie Nights

There will be two movie nights on Dec. 10 and 17, from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. These will be held at the Woodruff Road School and the cost is $20. Signup sheets are available at each location.

Giving Tree

In the lobby of each location you can find a Giving Tree loaded with ornaments. Each item identifies an item needed by the Project HOPE Foundation.

Holiday Party

Finally we will end the year with our annual Holiday Party on Thursday, Dec. 22. Please join us from 5:00 – 8:00pm at the Woodruff Road location to celebrate the season with our Tae Kwon Do family. Please bring your favorite dish to share and try some delicious Korean food, including bulgogi and kimchi.

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving is coming soon and here are a few quick updates on our schedule for the holiday!

We will be having a Tae Kwon Do Camp on Wednesday, November 23rd, more information and registration coming soon!

To celebrate the holiday we will be closed from Thursday, November 24 through Saturday, November 26th.
